The image at Art Creations Friday is just what I needed.
I wanted a gift box to put Mum's christmas present in and couldn't find anything that I really liked. So I bought an unstained pine box.I lightly stained it with burnt umber, added the image from this weeks challenge. I used several layers of full gloss varnish then added the embellishments.I finished it off with another coat of varnish. It is really what I wanted.

Your gift box is beautiful! I'm sure it will be treasured as much as the gift that goes into it! Your tree trio cards are wonderful, I love the colors and papers that you used. Thank you for visiting my blog, and for the kind words!
