Step Outside Your Box Saturday..Seasons

The theme at SOYBS http://stepoutsideyourboxsaturdays.wordpress.com/2008/10/18/seasons/ is seasons.

There are so many ways in our art to express a season in our life in such a way that it’s not blatantly obvious to the viewer exactly what that season is. I’m not talking about Spring, Summer, Winter or Fall. So what season are you in? Or what season have you been in that you can pull inspiration from? Show us in your art, whatever that art form may be.

here is mine..

SOYBS..Backgrounds

The prompt at SOYBS http://stepoutsideyourboxsaturdays.wordpress.com/2008/09/06/backgrounds/ was to create a background....

I did this with textured paper, patterned paper, gesso and material scraps, painted over with pva, smooshed randomly with embossing pad, sprinkled on some gold embossing powder and hit it with the heat gun..
